The motto of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is "Knowledge, Piety, Integrity".

UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta’s vision is: ACTUALIZING UIN SYARIF HIDAYATULLAH JAKARTA TO BECOME UNIVERSITY WITH GLOBAL REPUTATION WITH EXCELLENCY IN THE INTEGRATION OF ISLAMIC, INDONESIAN, AND SCIENCE.

    The mission, as follows:

  1. Organizing innovative and creative education and teaching based on information of technology and according to the global needs.
  2. Organizing quality and superior research-based in higher education for scientific development, social transformation, and increasing the nation's competitiveness.
  3. Providing access to quality of higher education for the wider community in an equitable manner.
  4. Organizing higher education in an organizational culture which is professional, accountable, integrity, and entrepreneurial.

     Strategic Objectives:

To facilitate the implementation of the mission at a more technical and operational level, the four mission points are elaborated into 9 (nine) strategic objectives which include:

  1. Developing quality of learning, based on research, information technology, and innovation.
  2. Improve students' academic and non-academic achievements at the national and international levels.
  3. Produce graduates who have competitiveness in the global world.
  4. Produce quality of research and publications as well as research-based community service.
  5. Improve the impact and the quality of national and international cooperation.
  6. Develop quality, conducive, and inclusive services and facilities.
  7. Strengthen the management systems of the university based on Good University Governance (GUG), University’s Performance Improvement (UPI), Competitive Academic University (CAU), and Global Recumized University (GRU).
  8. Develop the quality of human resources with professionalism and integrity.
  9. Creating institutions that have entrepreneurial excellence.

Green

UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is committed for Greening the Future. Determined to contribute for the sustainability, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta leads the green role through innovation and environmental awareness. Voicing concern for nature, and Islamic values with concrete actions in an effort to preserve the environment.

Humanity

The motto of 'Humanity' sees that within UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, every individual voices decisions and conducts daily behavio,r based on human values. The spirit of 'Humanity' also reflects the belief and appreciation of diversity and solidarity within various groups.
