UIN Jakarta has an openness in organizing ideas and actions for the sustainability of various campus activities. Therefore, to create a good and useful division of labor, a number of sections were formed in which there are a number of experts based on academic experience and expertise to complete related tasks.
a. Senate
The main duties of the university senate include overseeing the academic and administrative policies of the higher education institution. They are responsible for setting and revising these policies in accordance with current developments and needs, including in terms of entry requirements, curriculum, assessment, and other academic standards. In addition, university senates also have a role in addressing major issues that affect the sustainability and reputation of the university, such as structural, financial, and environmental policy changes. Through careful decision-making processes and collaboration among members, the university senate ensures that the university operates efficiently and in accordance with its educational mission to provide high-quality education and encourage innovative research.
b. Committees
University committees have broad responsibilities in managing various aspects of activities and policies within the university. One of its main tasks is to draft, revise and recommend important policies relating to the university's academic, administrative and financial affairs. The committee also plays a role in dealing with complex internal issues as well as overseeing the implementation of approved policies. In addition, university committees are tasked with facilitating communication and collaboration between various entities in the university, such as faculty, staff, and students, in order to achieve common goals and maintain harmony in the academic environment. As such, the roles and responsibilities of university committees are critical in maintaining the integrity, efficiency and sustainability of the university's overall operations.
- Degree Program Committee
A degree program committee is a body within a university that is responsible for designing, managing, and evaluating degree programs. The main tasks of this committee are to develop curricula in accordance with academic standards, supervise the implementation of the curricula, and assess and revise the programs of each degree according to the latest developments in the field. In addition, the degree program committee is also responsible for reviewing and approving requests for changes in degree programs, such as course additions or deletions, curriculum adjustments, or implementation of educational innovations. As such, the degree program committees play an important role in ensuring that degree programs at universities remain relevant, high quality, and meet the needs of students and the demands of the job market.
- Research, Collaboration, Development and Technology Committee
The university's Research, Collaboration, Development and Technology Committee is responsible for the ongoing management and development of research activities. They oversee the implementation of research policies, facilitate access to resources, and manage funding to support diverse research initiatives. In addition, these committees play a role in strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation, both within and outside the university, enabling a wider exchange of ideas and knowledge. - Finance and Structure Committee

- Library Committee

The committee's main duties include designing library collection management policies, overseeing the creation and maintenance of a collection of books, journals and other reference materials in line with the academic and research needs of the university. In addition, the committee is responsible for ensuring adequate facilities and technology are available in the library, including a digital library management system and electronic access to information resources. Furthermore, the committee is also involved in developing training and orientation programs for library users, as well as ensuring compliance with information security standards and policies. - Information Technology Committee

- Ethics Commission
The university ethics committee is the body responsible for upholding ethical principles in research and academic activities within the university. They are also tasked with reviewing research proposals and evaluating compliance with ethical principles at every stage of research, including the protection of research subjects and data integrity. In addition, the Ethics Commission serves as a consultative body for lecturers, researchers, and students in terms of ethical issues that arise in academic activities, as well as providing recommendations on appropriate measures to deal with such situations. The commission also has a role in providing education and training on the ethics of research and academic activities to members of the university community. They organize seminars, workshops, and other training to enhance understanding of ethical principles, academic standards, and related regulations. - Network for Diversity and Equal Opportunity
The office that manages the university's Network for Diversity and Equal Opportunity has a crucial responsibility in ensuring an inclusive and equitable educational environment for all individuals. Through the development of policies, programs and resources that support diversity, this office plays a role in promoting equal access and opportunity for students, staff, faculty and the university. By coordinating efforts across departments and engaging the entire campus community, the office aims to create a safe and supportive space for all members of the university, where differences are valued and used as strengths for learning and personal growth.
- Officer for Foreign Service
The office in charge of foreign service plays an important role in managing international relations and facilitating services related to students, staff, and faculty involved in international activities at the university. The duties of this office include various aspects, such as providing information and administrative support related to study abroad, student exchanges, and international academic cooperation. In addition, they may also be involved in visa processing, licensing, and other legal compliance related to international activities. In addition, these offices may be the main point of contact for international partners, donor agencies, or international organizations to facilitate cooperation and exchange of expertise between the university and overseas entities. - Disabilitty Representative

- Youth and Traine
The office responsible for youth and training at the university has the responsibility to provide support, resources, and programs specifically designed to meet the needs and aspirations of youth in a higher education setting. - Data Privacy Officer
The data privacy office is responsible for ensuring that personal information collected and processed by the university is properly protected in accordance with applicable regulations and standards in Indonesia. The main tasks of this office include the development, implementation, and monitoring of data privacy policies that comply with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP Law) and regulations issued by the National Autorization Board for Personal Data Protection (BAN-PDP). They are responsible for ensuring that the process of collecting, processing, and storing personal information is transparent, secure, and in accordance with legal requirements. In addition, the office also provides training to staff and members of the university community on applicable data privacy policies and maintains compliance with these regulations. Through these efforts, the data privacy office plays a role in protecting individual privacy and maintaining trust in the management of personal information within the university.
- Resource Protection
The office of resource protection at the university has primary responsibility for safeguarding and managing the university's assets and resources to keep them safe, secure and available for educational, research and operational needs. The duties of this office include developing policies and procedures for the physical and digital protection of university assets, including buildings, equipment, data, and information systems. They are also responsible for physical and cyber security monitoring, as well as implementing necessary security measures such as surveillance, access control, and early detection of threats or damage. Furthermore, this office may be involved in efforts to prevent fires, natural disasters, or other events that could jeopardize university resources. Through proactive and responsive measures, the resource protection office plays a role in maintaining the operational continuity and integrity of university resources in order to effectively support the educational and research missions.
- Representative for Good Academic
The office of academic quality representation at the university has responsibility for promoting high academic standards and supporting the achievement of academic success for students, staff and faculty. Its main duties include providing advice and support to students in overcoming academic challenges, such as course selection, curriculum planning, and effective learning strategies. In addition, the office is also responsible for managing and facilitating academic development programs, such as study skills training, academic seminars, and other self-development activities. Furthermore, they can act as mediators in resolving academic conflicts between students and academic staff and facilitate communication between students, lecturers, and university administration to enhance the learning experience. Through these efforts, the office of the guardian of academic quality plays a role in ensuring an academic environment that supports and stimulates the intellectual and professional development of all members of the university community.
